‘The Tour de France’ is a high quality digital art print of my original acrylic and oil painting. It measures 8.5”x11”.
I made the original painting of ‘The Tour de France’ soon after graduating art school. I was painting anything that captured my eye. Which, in this case, happened when I walked by my dad while he was watching an old tape of The Tour de France on his small tv as he pedaled his stationary bike. He used to do this and it made me laugh, feeling as if he imagined he were a part of the race too. The colors of the old tape, the blurred movement of the cyclists passing the crowd, and the natural frame of the television screen, all resulted in one of my paintings.
Your print will arrive temporarily mounted on an 11”x17” white backing board. The board will be protected in a plastic sleeve, ready to be unwrapped and displayed in your home!
